Troubleshooting Your Swimming Pool Sweep – Greater Sacramento Area

Hey everybody! Sorry for the hiatus, but Leisure Time has been incredibly busy (which is good) lately with the summer season kickin’ off! Recently, we have had a lot of calls regarding swimming pool sweep problems.
Two of the most common problems people voice are:
1) “My pool sweep is not moving.”
-or-
2) “My pool sweep only stays in one end of the pool.”
If you are having these problems, read the following. It may save you time and money!
-Check to ensure that the main drain and all suction lines are closed, except for the suction line to which Kreepy Krauly is attached.
-Check for debris in the filter or pump basket.
-Check for debris in pool sweep’s flapper/wheels/propeller. Debris may prevent flapper movement or restrict flow.
-Pool pump and filter system may be too small (incapable of providing 14 gallons per minute water flow).
